I have been making my own skin moisturiser for several years. I receive numerous comments on how my skin stays looking young and healthy.
There are many reasons why this happens.
If you decide to use natural ingredients only on your skin, then your skin is being fed with nutrients and vitamins from the natural oils and contents found in these ingredients.
I use a blend of Oils, Essential oil, Bee Propolis & Beeswax to make my natural blend of moisturiser. I know exactly what I am putting onto my skin and what will eventually be in the deeper layers of my skin and bloodstream.
There are many reasons why my skin stays looking younger. I do not smoke and never have, so my skin is not receiving any chemicals onto it or into it from the ingredients of the smoking devices. I always drink water and herbal teas. I rarely drink alcohol. I never use any products on my skin that are not 100% natural, that includes soaps, shampoos, body wash, harmful clothes washing detergents or sunscreens containing chemicals.
I do not wear very much make-up, but when I do it is all mineral or natural products.
I am not one for having air fresheners, plug ins, sprays inside the house or pot pourri unless it is a mix of natural ingredients or flower petals, cinnamon sticks, star anise.
I very rarely decorate or buy anything new. If I do buy something new (I love a secondhand bargain), it has to be made from all natural materials as much as possible and have no chemicals, so that it is not polluting my home. If I decorate, I look for natural pigment paints or Eco paints and natural flooring, timbers & furniture.
I love to be outside with nature and in my garden or visiting gardens. The vitamin D from the sunshine on my skin feels wonderful and as long as I have my daily natural sunscreen on, I know I will be reducing the damage to my skin from too much exposure to the suns damaging rays that cause the ageing and age spots on our skin.
